Something has found it's way through the cracks. I can't see my own reflection. I can't read my own writing. I can't keep moving. This isn't a dream. This isn't a nightmare. This is what you asked for. The day light deceives me. I wake to sunsets. I see your shadow in the pouring rain. Speak my words. Scream them out. Break into your mind. Break into your sheets. I feel your shadow creeping up behind. You thought you left me behind, I'm right beside you.
And now you want to be heard, when you whisper. I'd rather hear a scream.
I'm not used to this feeling, been gone for ages. Twined around my veins, swallowed my sentences. I won't let things be simple. Won't stand for short cuts much longer.
I'm burning away the past, blew their future in flames.
In who's possession is my guilt?
